Night Writing.

Earlier today my Mother-In-Law came over, spontaneously with my sun who's in College. She was on campus and got the feeling to reach out to him to see what he was up to.

As timing would have it, he was just about to figure out how he was gonna get home from the dorms, and asked his Grandma if she could drop him off.

Perfect.

We chatted in the kitchen and she asked me "Marian, what have you been up to?", which is the first time in a very long time that she asked me that question. She usually does the talking, and I don't really mind. She's smart and very informed. She's a pro at what she does and is a pretty high profile person among her peers and in her profession.

I told her that I was working on promoting a 21 Day Master Class on Self-Love, guided through the lens of a wild medicine woman. She's in the mental health field.

It sounded so weird coming out of my mouth because I write about what I do and rarely give elevator speeches. I liked how it felt to say it out loud.

The medicine taught me how to love and how to live, so naturally I want to scream it from the rooftops, because I'm a legit devotee. And She is so wise. The Self-Love Masterclass is based in Her teachings, and also from genius materials I've acquired over the past 5 years and use in my worklife daily.

You know what else I wanted to share?

I think it's weird that boobs are hidden when everyone loves them so much.

It's taboo to show them off, but that doesn't stop me. I guess they're distracting? And people will lose their minds if women walked around with their breasts swinging all over the place? They're "inappropriate" I guess in the wrong setting. I think they'd make life a lot more fun and easy-going if we saw them more.

They nourish life and can cause love-making. I guess that's the threat. Everybody will be thinking about milk or gettin' some honey;) Maybe women wouldn't like the attention. I think we need to normalize seeing more boobs.

To connect the dots a little bit, Mother Nature grows these incredible medicines, but they're illegal?

You can't make Mother Nature illegal, Mr. Government, that's going too far!

Boobs and nature are going on strike Mr. President!

Does Government have the right to regulate Mother Nature? In a negative way? Nope.

Not in my educated opinion.

That doesn't make sense, but neither does putting chemicals in our kids food to make it tastier, but that does't stop anybody from making it or buying it.

The medicine teaches profound concepts that deteriorate outdated and corrupt systems. That's why these teachers are illegal, for now. They disrupt corruption. They cause people to think for themselves.

They allow a person to connect the dots personally, and also in a broader sense. Seekers tend to explore this realm, while conservatives tend to deny the spiritual and scientific claims. Makes sense.

Conservatives are not very progressive.

A lot of suffering is man-made. I'd say most of it is.

Question: Can Mother Nature be trusted with your heart, mind, and soul?

I say with a lot of conviction, YES.

I guess so long as companies/governments use Mother Nature's resources, and unfortunately sometimes pollute her water-ways, and damn Her rivers in doing so, we can see how corruption can justify itself through greed. And we can see how capitalism exploits Mother Nature's resources to do its bidding at our own detrimental cost.

What we leave behind to our kids is their inheritance. Do you feel good about the condition the world is in? Do you feel safe to leave your young ones behind in it? Are you doing everything you can to make the world a safe and healthy place for your progeny to live in? Would you like to end division? Within yourself and in our shared world?

The wars that take place are a reflection of the collective unconscious. The fragmented parts of the human psyche that sees other humans as threats or enemies, in an effort to gain power and control. Yikes!

The plants teach higher consciousness.

The people who sell guns don't want you taking mushrooms, that's for sure.

Questions reveal some uncomfortable truths. I don't want to have to tell my daughter that there are people who would hurt her on purpose, or who lacked control of themselves to the point where her life would be in danger. I hope I never have to have that conversation. So when she asks me, 'Mom, why can't I walk over to my friends house down the street by myself" (age 6) how am I supposed to respond? "Well babe, it's not safe. I'm afraid to let you walk by yourself while you're so small and young". That's my answer. That's as far as the conversation has gone, thank you Jesus.

Who could hurt a child? What would cause a person to do that?

Pain and Trauma.

Mother Nature, well she has a solution! She has healing agents.

But oh, they're illegal. How inconvenient.

The good news is funguy is being decriminalized all over the US, and soon enough may be readily available to all who wish to journey without feeling like they're doing something wrong. Crazy and also amazing.

I've never followed any rules that don't make sense to me. I'm weird like that.

Some people call me a free spirit. It seems to fit.

My point is that feeling your Spirit and connecting with it happens because of Mother Nature.

We have Her to thank for that.

I just wish more people trusted Her. Like really trusted Her, with their lives and for their happiness.

If you're curious about what She can do for you, let me know and I'll help make it happen.

Thanks for reading my stream of thoughts. I'm glad you're here.

Namasté Sane,

Marian xo
